IPL 2021 Points Table: CSK tops IPL Points Table, Check Full Rankings, Orange Cap, Purple Cap Race 2021

IPL Points Table 2021 Update: MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are currently at the top of the IPL Points Table 2021 with 10 points, followed by Delhi Capitals at the second spot and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the third spot, who also have 10 points each but lower net run rate. 

The Mumbai Indians stand at the fourth position with 6 points, followed by Punjab Kings who also have 6 points so far.  The Kolkata Knight Riders come in sixth with four points, followed by Rajasthan Royals at the second last position with again 4 points and Sun Risers Hyderabad at the bottom of the IPL Points Table with just one win in six matches.

IPL 2021: Orange Cap and Purple Cap standings after PBKS vs MI match

IPL 2021 Purple Cap 

1. RCB’s Harshal Patel continues to lead the race for IPL 2021, Purple Cap, with 17 wickets in 7 matches.

2.DC’s Avesh Khan stands second now with 13 wickets.   

3. RR’s Chris Morris is third with 11 wickets.

4. Mumbai Indians’ Rahul Chahar is fourth with 11 wickets.

5.  Rashid Khan, Pat Cummins, and Kyle Jamieson are fifth, sixth, and seventh with 11 wickets as well. 

Purple Cap rules: The IPL Purple Cap is given to the leading wicket-taker of the IPL season. 

IPL 2021 Orange Cap

1.  Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul has replaced Shikhar Shawan to lead the race for IPL 2021, Purple Cap, with 331 runs in 7 matches. 

 

2. Shikhar Dhawan is second with 311 runs in 7 matches.

3. CSK’s Faf du Plessis is third with 270 runs in 6 matches.

4.  DC’s Prithvi Shaw is fourth with 269 runs in 7 matches. 

5. RR’s Sanju Samson is fifth with 229 runs in 6 games.
