How To Change Photo In Aadhar Card

However, there are times when you need to change the photo on the aadhaar card and there are two ways to do it. You can do this by updating the information through the self-service update portal, or you can visit the nearest registration center. If you want to know how to change photos on Aadhaar card, you can do it offline. There is no requirement to change the photo on your Aadhaar card online.

 

How to Change/Update Photo in Aadhaar Card Offline

To update photos on your aadhaar card, all you need to do is visit the nearest aadhaar registration center. Follow the steps below to update a photo.

Visit the Aadhaar Registration Center.

Download the registration form from the official UIDAI website.

Fill out the form carefully.

Now submit the form to the CEO and provide your biometric data.

The artist in the middle takes your photo.

You must provide biometric information to validate your information.

Pay Rs 25 + GST ​​to update your details.

You will now receive a confirmation slip with your URN.

With URN you can check the status of your updates.

Write to the regional UIDAI office

If you are unable to submit the form in person, you can renew your Aadhaar by writing to the UIDAI regional office. To do this, just follow the steps below.

Download the aadhaar data update fix from the official UIDAI website.

Now fill in all the necessary details.

Write an application to the regional office and ask them to change your current photo of Aadhaar. Send your application to the following address:

In order to successfully renew your Aadhaar card, you must include an official copy of your new photo and a copy of the Aadhaar card with the application and form.

You will receive a new copy of your Aadhaar card at your address within 15 to 20 days of successful renewal.

You can check Aadhaar’s renewal status online using the URN specified on the confirmation slip
